On a Christmas tree discovery tour!

Dear Zell residents and guests of the town of Zell (Mosel),

The season is over. I took a few days' vacation and am now rested and ready to discover new things in my home town. On Saturday, I strolled through the old town and took a look at the fantastic Christmas lights.

I was naturally curious to see if I could spot one of the creative Christmas trees. In front of the Hallenbach winery, I came across Hanna Bamberg, who proudly showed me the Christmas tree that class 7b of the IGS had worked on and which you can admire at the Hallenbach winery from the first weekend of Advent. Of course, I took a photo straight away to show you what great things await you in the town of Zell at Christmas time. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the different trees!

Anyone strolling through the old town of Zell (Mosel) during Advent this year can look forward not only to the festive atmosphere but also to beautifully decorated Christmas trees. More than 20 "traditional, alternative and creatively designed Christmas trees" can be found in Zell's town center. Various IGS classes, clubs, stores and companies have created fun and sometimes very unusual Christmas trees.

Visitors to the town of Zell (Mosel) will decide who receives the public prize for the most beautiful Christmas tree. Evaluation cards will be available in the specialist stores in Zell during the Advent weeks. Visitors can vote for their favorite there.

You can download a list of the trees with their numbers and locations below. Simply write down the tree number, make a note of the address and post it in the letterbox of the town administration. The closing date for the competition is December 23. Every vote counts! Various non-cash prizes and shopping vouchers will be raffled off among all participants. And there are attractive cash prizes to be won by the decoration teams.

I look forward to your visit to our wine town and hope you enjoy your stroll through Zell (Mosel)!
